Whisky Walk Peat Night in the Netherlands

At the Whisky Walk Peat Night seven Islay Distilleries will be represented and tasting can be made at several locations throughout Nijmegen. At the time of writing almost 150 people registered doing this walk together with representatives from Islay Distilleries: John Campbell (Distillery manager Laphroaig), Duncan McGillivray (Distillery manager Bruichladdich), Jamie MacKenzie (Bowmore) Richard Cramping (Bunnahabhain), Helen Arthur and lots more.
There also will be some different Port Ellen Malts present for tasting and there will be a special release of a new 16y Bowmore, oloroso.
The night costs € 150,- per person. This includes tasting of over 25 different top Islay malts (including some Port Ellen Malts), a free special limited edition Isaly Malt, specially bottled for this occasion (retail value of around € 60,-), all other drinks and food and a big midnight BBQ, and a very nice goodie bag.
