Updates on the Islay Website

After yesterdays post about Port Wemyss I realised this morning that Port Wemyss didn't have its own feature page. Up till today there was some information on the Portnahaven page and I decided that this beautiful village deserved more. That's why I created a new feature page for Port Wemyss and changed the feature page for Portnahaven on the Islay Info Website.

I also updated the Islay Media Gallery and added a lot of new pictures for Portnahaven and made a new photo album for Port Wemyss. This year in May we were really lucky with the weather and enjoyed many sunny days and wonderful sunny evenings with great sunsets. The results of these glorious days can be seen in the updated media gallery. Below one of the new pictures in the Portnahaven Album.

The Maggie

Buy The Maggie from Amazon The Maggie is one of Ealing studios lesser known comedies. It is however a 'gem' in the true sense of the word. The film has everything, humour, tragedy, pathos, romance. A wily old skipper of a Western Isles 'Puffer' and his motley crew lead all who come into contact with them a fine old time!
