Two Islay Photography Links

I found two new websites that both contain some stunning Islay pictures. The first one is a local website from Islay and the other one is an international one. Let's start with the local one first. This site, a photo blog, belongs to Phil Gray. Phil works at Bowmore distillery and he has a beautiful collection of really fine photo's. He has several galleries on his blog from which the "landscapes" and "boats" galleries contain the most, and very beautiful, Islay pictures, as you can see from the picture right. Although Phil is "still in the middle of putting his site together" I can highly recommend a visit to http://islayphotography.wordpress.com

The second website is titled "FPLA" and is a huge resource for high qaulity nature and wildlife photography: "FLPA-images of nature specialise in spectacular rights managed and royalty free images of nature for use in editorial, advertising, marketing, design, calendar and greeting cards. We provide a complete on-line service for editors, designers and picture researchers and represent 250 of the world's finest natural history photographers." This website is loaded with incredibly beautiful pictures and has many Islay pictures as well. If you go to www.flpa-images.co.uk and search for "Islay" you'll find 180 beautiful images from Islay. Although the previews are rather small and contain watermarks this site is very much worth having a look at.
