StormCat 950 - Made on Islay... WOW!!

StormCats, the Scottish based boat builders (Lagavulin - Islay), launches the newest edition to their rapidly expanding portfolio - StormCat 950. Designed and built to Lloyds Special Service Craft Rules, StormCat 950 conforms to RCD category C or B. She is fitted with 2 x 250hp Evinrude E-Tec petrol outboards and comes complete in the twin hulls with fully fitted kitchen, Queen size bed, shower and bathroom facilities, office space and single bed. StormCat 950 is fitted throughout with high spec teak decking, 316 Stainless Steel and GRP moulded interiors, offering not only a superior style but is easily maintained. The interior is lined throughout with mottle shell foam backed material with the addition of bolster cushions in the bedroom and ensuite and to complete the aesthetics all furnishings and accessories are finished in teak. The console houses a state of the art electronics package and is built around the helmsman for *censored*pit style, comfort, dynamics and ease of use. StormCat 950 is complete with flybridge, fitted with an A frame for navigation lights, remote control search light, GPS radar and VHF aerials. The purpose built console replicates the controls below and has additional seating for three. All controls to the engine enjoy the most modern flyby wire technology expected from such a high performance vessel. In the water she cruises at 24 knots and has a sprint speed of 37 knots while still offering the comfort and style expected of such a luxurious boat.
