Scottish Hotel Award for Islay Based Hotel

The Scottish Hotel Awards ceremony was held on the 1st of March 2009 for the sixth time and this time there was a winner from Islay in the category National Awards - Island Hotel of the Year 2009. And that winner is the Bowmore based Harbour Inn & Restaurant. Congratulations to the staff of the Harbour Inn, well done! Also interesting is the possiblity to nominate your favourite Islay hotel and/or guesthouse. This could perhaps help some other Islay Hotels to have the possibility to win an award, which is of course good publicity for the island.
