You probably wonder what Gus Newman, Kelly Clarkson and a company called StormCats have in common and how they are related to each other? You�ll see this is all about rocking�
Yesterday I wrote about Islay�s shipwrecks and mentioned the absence of the Islay Dive Centre website. I checked out with Brian and found out that Gus Newman, who operated the Islay Dive Centre, is now occupied with building very nice boats in Lagavulin and is making a living of that. His company is called StormCats and on their website there is a smashing promotional video presenting a boat, the new StormBreaker, riding Islay�s waves.
But how does Kelly Clarkson fit into the story, you might ask yourself? Remember the promotional video of the StormBreaker I mentioned, which by the way was shot in the waters near Lagavulin?
If you watch it, you are going to hear some brilliant rock-music on the video as well. At first I didn�t know who the singer was, but today I�ve asked around and figured out that it is Kelly Clarkson. The song is called �Since U Been Gone�. So she is the one, who provides the rocking background to the rocking boat� - Get the picture? Above that, I can really recommend a visit to the StormCats website which is very well designed and a joy for the eye as well. So enjoy these smashing beats and a smashing ride on Islay�s waves. Oh, and don't forget to crank up the volume!
