Islay and Whisky Magazine Live Japan

Whisky Live is the whisky tasting event of the year, taking place from London to Tokyo, Paris to Glasgow. Appealing to both the enthusiast and the novice alike, and with expert advice on hand and the opportunity to learn about the whisky basics, Whisky Live is intended to provide the ultimate whisky experience. Takeshi sent me the original Japanese timetable of the events, click on the image, and I thought it was a good idea to add Takeshi's story to the Weblog, since Islay is well presented during this festival.

Takeshi: Whisky Magazine Live Japan will be held in Tokyo Big Sight, Odaiba Tokyo on 18th February. Bowmore, Jura and Lagavulin will participate from Islay and Jura and Ian MacCallum, Richard Patterson and Graham Logie will host in the seminars. Especially Graham Logie will be very busy because he will host in four one-hour seminars; two for Talisker and two for Lagavulin. The Lagavulin's seminar is subtitled as Giant in Islay - Lagavulin, Legend and new discovery'. Lagavulin is so much popular in Japan as other Islay malts. The tickets of the seminars will be soon sold out.
