Islay Tourist Map

I still have a copy of the first tourist map from Islay and if I remember correctly I picked it up at the Kennacraig ferry terminal. It's a colourful map, printed on both sides and divided in Islay north and Islay south. The map gives a good overview of the most important places of interest on Islay. This evening I stumbled upon the electronic Acrobat version of the map. The map consists of two Acrobat PDF files and are in a very high resolution. Each map is about 2mb in size and may take a while to load. Please use the link below to visit the Oban Times website where you can download your maps of choice and/or to download Adobe Acrobat reader .

    The Maggie

Buy The Maggie from Amazon The Maggie is one of Ealing studios lesser known comedies. It is however a 'gem' in the true sense of the word. The film has everything, humour, tragedy, pathos, romance. A wily old skipper of a Western Isles 'Puffer' and his motley crew lead all who come into contact with them a fine old time!
