Ileach Newspaper in Japanese

Takeshi Mogi from Tokyo Japan is a regular visitor to Islay and he runs a Japanese Islay website. It is the first and finest Japanese website about Isle of Islay since 9th November 1996 according to Takeshi. I am not able to read his Japanese texts but he has some nice Islay pictures on his website. If all goes as planned Takeshi will add his own story to this weblog shortly.

I have been told by Christine Logan that he also knows his way around with the bagpipes. But that is not all, Takeshi runs a special service for the Japanese who have an interest in Islay. On a regular basis he translates stories from the Ileach Newspaper to Japanese and puts them on his Japanese Ileach Online website. A unique and remarkable service and worth a visit.
