Islay Hotel Progress
Thursday, January 24 2008
Roland Worthington-Eyre reports that work is about to start again on the rebuilding of the Islay Hotel after a festive break that has been extended rather longer than expected due to the ravages of the weather and the dreaded flu bug. Two big milestones should be reached this month, initially when drilling starts for the renewable energy geothermal heating system which will employ a ground source heat pump, and then the arrival of the first pre-fabricated Bison Beams which will be used to build the floors in the exciting new building.
Roland also told the Ileach that ticket sales for his 'Spot the Whisky Barrel' competition have been brisk, but that there are still plenty of opportunities left to win the big ?250,000 cash first prize with lots of other opportunities to win as well. Check out this link for more information on how to enter this unique prize draw.
