Owl TV on Islay

I just received an email from Carl Reavey about Owl TV:

Michael Thomson of Bruichladdich has got the latest full colour version of Owl TV up and running on the net. There are three cameras currently operational - a fourth is ready to be activated - probably on the farmyard. The bird, a barn owl, is currently sitting tight on what Michael believes are five eggs. Later it was confirmed by Malcolm Ogilvie that there are six eggs.

Owl TV is available using this link: www.realmalt.com/owl.html. The images change every few seconds and it will be good fun to watch once the eggs have hatched. I will try to have a peek from time to time and will post an update when the chicks come out. For now, it's patience and waiting.....

The Maggie

Buy The Maggie from Amazon The Maggie is one of Ealing studios lesser known comedies. It is however a 'gem' in the true sense of the word. The film has everything, humour, tragedy, pathos, romance. A wily old skipper of a Western Isles 'Puffer' and his motley crew lead all who come into contact with them a fine old time!
