Islay Geese Video

Besides many pictures of the Geese I managed to shoot some video of the Geese on Islay as well. We were blessed with several splendid quiet evenings and beautiful sunsets. When the geese come to roost at Loch Indaal they offer one of nature's most stunning spectacles. Many thousands of geese are already at the head of the loch near Bridgend while thousands of others arrive from other parts of the island to spend the night, there where the sea meets the land. The video shows the different species of geese, a map of the route they fly in autumn, from Greenland to Iceland and off to Islay, and many nice shots of the Barnacle Geese on the island. Enjoy!
