Gold Medals for Bowmore Distillery

A few press releases were issued today regarding the high quality of Bowmore Malt Whisky. First the Bowmore 1968 Islay Single Malt has been "Highly Recommended" in the Whisky Merchants Challenge. This is a limited edition bottling and is now available for sale. There are only 708 bottles available at £595 per bottle.

Gold medals were won in this years International Spirits Challenge with Bowmore Enigma and Auchentoshan 12 years old. Bowmore Surf was rewarded a silver medal and Bowmore 16 years old a bronze medal. The results are also available here. Since this is an international competition the list is extremely long.
