Commenting on the Islay Weblog

I always appreciate comments on articles posted on this blog very much. It's good to get interaction from the readers and to hear from others how they feel about things that happen on Islay. Unfortunately in the last couple of days a nasty comment was made on the ferry conspiracy theory article. The user who made this comment tried to impersonate another user on this blog, confusing me and others as well. Furthermore this particular comment was posted to discredit someone and wasn't meant to be a constructive contribution to the article.

I would like to make my apologies for the fact that something like that appeared on this blog as well as to the person(s) involved. The comment in question, and other comments from this user, have been removed and I will continue to remove comments which are not on topic, hatefull or posted merely to discredit someone. If something like this happens a second time by the same user I will also remove the user from the blog and deny further access.
