It's a Girl and her name is....

I usually don't publish much personal news on this blog but this time I happily make an exception. As many of you know by now Manuela was pregnant, until this morning that is. This morning at 8.04am she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl of 3500 grams and her name is Annika Juliette. Mother and daughter are at home and are doing fine and dandy. Daddy found a couple of minutes to write this post in between taking care of Manuela and the wee webmaster to be, and is feeling great too. I have included an image of Annika which was taken one hour after she was born.

My best wishes to the proud parents. You have to take a look for a cask which was distilled today or call Laddie that will they fill you a special valinch for this special day.

My two Lad(d)ies got their own cask in 2005, they were born in 2001 and 2003, that was the year when WE get "distillery of the year" :-)

Congratulations Annika Juliette for choosing Ron and Manuela as parents. Good choice because they will let you see the isle of Islay. Ron and Manuela we wish you a very good, nice and happy time now and in the future, maybe we will meet you all on Islay or maybe in Holland on a Celtic weekend.
